What we collect and why

When you sign up to be notified about our launch, we collect the email address you submit. We use it for a single purpose: to send you one notification when the service goes live. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Legal basis

We process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below); withdrawing it does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

How long we keep it

We keep your email only as long as needed for the launch notification, and no longer than 24 months from sign-up. After that, or once you ask us to erase it, we delete it. If you unsubscribe or the project is discontinued, we delete your email promptly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights — including erasure ("right to be forgotten") — email getcarup+privacy@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. See Google's advertising policies for details and opt-out options.

Your email is stored on servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
